About the SSAT Test Preparation
The Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) is an admissions test for private and independent schools across the United States. The test assesses a student’s academic abilities, ranging from reading comprehension and vocabulary use, to solving complex mathematical problems. The SSAT comprises three levels; Elementary, Middle, and Upper, each level corresponding to the typical age range of test-takers.
The SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) in the US covers: Quantitative (Math): Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, data analysis. Verbal Reasoning: Vocabulary, word relationships, analogies. Reading Comprehension: Understanding and interpreting passages. Writing Sample: Essay or story (unscored, sent to schools). Experimental Section: Unscored questions for test development.
